Aww, now I feel sorta bad, because I didn't realize until just now--when I went to look for it--that I never actually reviewed volume 1 of this. (Maybe because I had such mixed feelings about it.) If I had remembered that, I would have put some kind of a warning on this review.
Anyway, yeah, I don't disagree with you. But I give Misaburou some leeway, because although he was totally in love with Kei, he felt that Kei didn't really feel the same way about him (rightly so, in my opinion), and they spent YEARS apart with their relationship really not being a relationship at all. (Also, Misaburou is completely spineless and for some reason hangs out with a bunch of jerks.) Since it's clear this was all in the past and won't happen anymore, and Kei was willing to forgive Misaburou and move on, I gave the second volume a chance. Personally, I think it's totally adorable, but if you can't forgive Misaburou, I doubt it would change your opinion of him much.
Have you put in your next manga order yet? I'm not sure you're going to like the chou-aniki story.
