I KNOW! Edgeworth with glasses might be the best thing ever. (Too bad he puts them in his pocket for the courtroom scenes.)

Yeah...I'm thinking there's a lot of stuff in this game that won't make sense without AJ, and the overarching plot for this game directly ties into that one. Unless you really read up on spoilers for AJ, I'd definitely recommend playing that first.
