Went to relatively early show (7:00) yesterday with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mereflair. We were worried that we were going to be laughing at parts that no one else was, but our audience was cool and snickered at the same inappropriate places we did. IT WAS AWESOME.
THE BEST:
1. Edward when Bella first walks into Biology. I love how he covered his nose and looked like he was about to puke. YES, PERFECT REACTION.
2. Jasper's face. IT NEVER CHANGED. (Except when he was dancing with glee around James' pyre. OH JASPER.)
3. EDWARD IN BELLA'S ROOM OH GOD OH GOD. ("Only for the last two months. I like to watch you sleep." I especially loved how everyone in the audience went "CREEPY" when he said that.)
4. CHARLIE ♥ ♥ ♥ "We can do more stuff together." T^T
5. When Edward and Bella kissed, and the girls in front of us snickered, and the girls down the aisle were all "SHHHHH!" TWILIGHT IS SRS BSNS.
6. Edward being totally turned on by A. Bella correctly identifying stages of mitosis and B. "Clair de Lune is nice." lololololol Edward, if you would talk to another girl for five minutes, you'd realize that Bella is not all that ~*SPECIAL*~
7. Bella to Angela: "You're a strong, independent woman." YES BELLA, BUT YOU ARE NOT.
(I know I'm leaving out something awesome. There was just so much amazingness in this movie. *flails*)
THE WORST:
1. No "Do I dazzle you?" WHYYYYYYYYY :( :( :( :( :( There's not enough sadface in the world for this. :(
2. Edward's sparkle FX could have been better. (But the scene was worth it for "THIS IS THE SKIN OF A KILLERRRR")
All in all, I freaking LOVED it. (I want to see it again. Can we go see it again?) It was a really good adaptation; a lot of the stuff they added was just hilarious: Billy and Charlie being dorks ("I'm down with the kids!"), the pepper spray...excuse me, PEPPER SPRAY, a couple times when Bella was actually nice to her "friends"...good job, guys. A++++ would lol again
Also: YES, I CAN HAS EMO SCORE just not right now
Also also: I'm listening to the soundtrack right now and I kind of wish I'd bought it. :/

Son of ETA: Twimoms' negative reactions to the movie - I love how they're all like "The movie made it seem like X when the book didn't at all." Where X = something that was totally in the book (i.e. Edward is creepy, Bella is petulant, the whole thing is cheesy, etc).

ETA: OMG. From your last link: "There was a process of character and relationship development in the book that was completely absent in the movie." Imagine me on the floor, unconscious because I was laughing too hard to be able to get any oxygen to my brain, because that's pretty much how things are right now.

DJ was laughing at Jasper too. "What was up with him!?" hehe I tried to explain but he didn't really get it. It also didn't help that he fell asleep for 1/3 of the movie.
Edward's reaction to Bella when she entered Biology was excellent!! I completely agree with you. Cracked me up.
Were girls crying when Bella was hurt during your movie? There were many at mine...oh, plus some guy would was there with his daughter that had a cold and never stopped sniffling. I almost handed the jerk a tissue!

Everybody in the theater was laughing at Edward's reaction to smelling Bella. It was really great. XD
Wow, crying, really? No, there weren't any girls crying in my theater, and I'm glad because that just would've made me laugh harder. >.>
