Shopping Therapy
Somebody demanded suggested that I write about today's therapy session.

Here's today's (modest) haul. (If it looks like I'm on a Sakura Haiji kick...I am.) That's the special edition of Paradise Kiss volume 2 on the bottom there. My main purpose in going to town today was to pick up the new Flesh & Blood drama CD, because if I buy all of them at the same store, I'll get an extra CD with the actors' comments and stuff. It's because of things like this that I end up shopping more at the Ikebukuro Animate than the Chiba Animate. Oh well. This is certainly more worth the trip into Tokyo than the Tsubasa extra, which was a 500 yen tosho card (a gift certificate that can be used at any bookstore) with this picture on it.
Speaking of Flesh & Blood, I also picked up the new novel, which finally came out today. I thought I wasn't going to find it, because it wasn't at the first two stores I looked at. (I wanted to get it in Chiba so I could read it on the train into Tokyo.) But then they had it at Animate. Chara must have really rushed to get it out, because there are...no pictures. (I nearly cried in the middle of the store when I realized.) Even the cover is a picture that was used on the cover of Shousetsu Chara when the Geoffrey and Nigel side story ran. And the inside picture is...the same picture. (Huh?) ...Even though said side story isn't in this volume. (It was supposed to be...) I'm very confused. Anyway, I'm only one chapter into it right now, but already Kaito is lying up a storm. I love when he lies. He's so damn cute.
I actually feel a bit guilty reading this already, because I still haven't finished the latest City of Glass novel. The whole 9/11 arc has killed a lot of my joy for the series. I hope she's done with it now. >.<
The other novel in the pile is Kimi Dake no Guardian, which I picked up pretty much because Sakuragi Yaya illustrated it. I mean, the back did make it sound cute, but what really won me over was the first picture.
I stopped at Character Queen to pick up the Chintsubu drama CD, which I'd been thinking about getting it anyway, but then I found out that Sakurai Takahiro was in it, so.... I had enough points on my K-Books card to get it for free, so I figured I might as well. Only I couldn't find it. T_T Instead I got the drama CD of Calorie, since I just re-read that the other day. I'd forgotten how cute it was.
It's not in the picture, but I also picked up the issue of Be-Boy that has the first chapter of Bukiyou na Silent in it. I know Biblos is releasing the tankoubon this summer, but I really could not contain my desire to read the original version. The translation was good and all, but...it was still a translation. I needed the full effect of Tohno's adorableness. (Tohno therapy?)
This is unrelated to today's shopping trip, but I just finished reading Kimi ni Meromero this morning, and I just wanted to squee about how totally adorable the first two chapters were. If I'd read it earlier, it might have ended up on the two-shot list.
If you'll excuse me now, I have to go back to reading Flesh & Blood.
