1. BEST DANCE NUMBER EVAR

Clearly I need to start watching Glee, because I don't give a shit what else is going on with the show as long as there is stuff this amazing.

2. SEE! WORLD'S LAZIEST CAT TRY TO DRINK WATER LYING DOWN

That is a really unflattering shot! He looks ginormous! Oh wait, he IS ginormous.

Is this the part where I remind you that I told you to watch Episode 4, even if you watch nothing else of the show? (That being the youtube clip you have posted.) ;)

OK, next time you want me to watch/read something, just be like, "Denise. SINGLE LADIES." And I'll do whatever you say. XD

Ah, now that's more like it! XD

(My favorite part of the football dance routine is actually when the guy on the other team starts dancing too and his teammate is all BUH! STOP!)

Wait...does their routine have anything to do with the boy who has the crush on the football player getting caught by his dad doing a routine to the same song or are they just doing it to distract the other team?

Also, do they get to keep the points or are the penalized by the ref for the dance routine?

Distraction technique, so they can score. (You could just call it a bonus that the dad is there to see it, conceivably making the connection and therefore "justifying" his son's excuse and exonerating him.)

Also, do they get to keep the points or are the penalized by the ref for the dance routine?

The one thing I have learned to accept about the flaws Glee has as a show - like any scripted show like this - don't ask these questions because you'll pull apart the ends that are so very loosely tied. (Kind of how, like, we never see another football game. And they obviously aren't going to win more than one game this way.)

(I need a know it all icon.)

Er, I forgot to start my second part with a "Yes, they keep the points and [SPOILER - hurr hurr] win the game with Kurt's kicking wonder powers.

1) I have to stop watching that video.

2) Are #22 and #34...girls?

[identity profile] collarnojutsu.livejournal.com 2009-12-18 12:59 am (UTC)(link)
1) No!
2) No!

(I'd watched that scene half a dozen times before anyway, but I was showing it my co-worker earlier because that was the one episode all season she missed, and then we totally watched it all day. No I didn't do any work today, why do you ask? Seriously though, it will never get old. haha football. single ladies.* pfffft.)

*also why I want to see Alvin & the Chipmunks 2, btw.

I would love Glee, if Terri didn't just hit a bit too close to home :p

Bwahaha!

(1) Dear god, Pumpkin makes Ptolemy look skinny.

(2) Single Ladies... I have no words. I have not heard of this thing which is Glee. Perhaps I need to correct this.

[identity profile] wednesday-10-00.livejournal.com 2009-12-18 01:58 pm (UTC)(link)
1) In fairness to Pumpkin, a lot of that is his winter fur. (He is...SO FURRY right now.) I mean, he really is fat, but that's a terrible angle or something, he's not THAT fat. Maybe.

2) I have heard some things about Glee that made me reluctant to watch it (I won't get into that here), but after seeing this, I decided I would give it a chance. I just have to try to forget about the negative stuff I've heard so I can be fair to it.

I watched the first episode because my brother told me it was a good show. I have to say it was too high on the cheese-o-meter for my taste. But several of the people on my friend list are devoted fans, so tastes vary.

AWWWWW PUMPKIN.

I downloaded the first episode of Glee off iTunes back when it was free, and loved it. The next few episodes, however, provided no character development out of Stereotypeville. My advice is to skip Glee, and just watch the songs on Hulu or wherever. Of course, that way you'll be missing out on HBIC Sue Sylvester, but you'll also probably be throwing less things at your TV. So.
