So, we survived Natsu-Komi '11. Well, we elected to skip Saturday, because we were only interested in Tiger & Bunny (assuming it was on that day) and a few novel things. As it turned out (you guys! we are so cutting edge!) Tiger & Bunny is so new it doesn't have a section. But, it's so popular that it's EVERYWHERE. So we hit up a bunch of random tables (also some found on a random blog that listed a bunch of circles doing T&B) on Friday and decided to be satisfied with that. As for Sunday, we divided up and conquered:

Other than that, we were pretty successful, I think? I, uh, may have been a little too successful. Oh god, my poor suitcases

How ironic, considering that Tora no Ana had an entire wall devoted to Tiger & Bunny DJ. (That reminds me I still need to watch eps 14-18. 19?)

Well, what we figured, with Comiket, is that it takes long enough to register and publish the catalogue that there wasn't really a fandom at that time. So Tiger & Bunny was just randomly spread all over the place, rather than being contained in one section.

(You need to watch through episode 20. OMG 19 is the BEST.)

Not jealous at all, nooo. (Especially considering that I'm currently in a bidding way for a T&B copybon -- I'm leading at 2200 yen right now, while the original price was 200 yen.)

Out of curiousity, are there a lot of non-Japanese at Comiket? It's totally a dream of mine to go someday, if I ever visit Japan, but if everyone's gonna stare at me and be surprised to see a foreigner... :\

Hmm, you do see foreigners there, but I would say 99% of the people there are Japanese (or at least Asian?), just due to the HUGE number of people there. I've never felt stared at or anything, but I lived here long enough that I'm pretty desensitized to that sort of thing, so I'm not sure I'm the best judge.

If you ever do go, I cannot stress enough how important planning in advance is. It's really not the best place to try to randomly browse because it's so massive.
