Unpacked jumble after my return.
Wednesday, making herself at home among the sorting piles
Shelved! Minus, of course, the ~30 books (shounen/shoujo and novels) that I shipped home. ...and the full-size doujinshi, which I have so many of I'm not sure where to put them.
I had one casualty: the box for the Sensei wa Dummy drama CD (in a box!) got cracked. :( Normally, I wouldn't care, but the case is an unusual size and I don't know that I'll be able to replace it. The CDs themselves appear to be unharmed. (Though I had already ripped the drama part to my computer.)
(I know I have about a million comments to respond to, but I think I should wait until I'm less braindead.)

I am now even more jealous of your formerly empty shelves (even though I imagine those books will eventually need to be integrated with your non-shoppingorgy2011 manga). It is a brilliant idea to have a staging area waiting for orgy purchases to be unpacked. My books are still in my luggage, which is still on my floor. Everything else has been unpacked, so it's just the books, in their bag-bricks...in my luggage on the floor. Good thing I sorted them before packing, because the kitteh pic makes me want to read my Minase Masara books now.

To be honest, the reason I cleared off the shelves before going this time is that I remembered last time how I rearranged everything to make room after I got back, and since I was clearing things off my shelf (into my closet...) to make room for new books anyway, I figured it was easiest to just leave a bunch of empty shelves. And yes, once I read them and add them to the database, they will integrated in with everything else.
