...You guys, can we have, like, weekly Tiger & Bunny episode discussions or something? I mean, the series is almost over (for now? there will be more after this season, I hope?), and this watching once a week thing is going to kill me otherwise. Or are mangaroo and I the only ones who care? Fine, we'll have a Tiger & Bunny party, just the two of us!

(PS, if you're not watching it already, it's all on Hulu! For free! Sorry about the annoying commercials! But it's totally worth it!)

Wait, first things first:

Kotetsu's finest moment, iconized (free for taking)

OK, moving on:

Two episodes in a row with no interaction between the main characters? OK, I sort of expected it, but it's killing me! Kotetsu, give Bunny the pin that will magically make him remember you! This will totally happen, right?

1. So, who is the fake Wild Tiger? Someone we know? Someone new? (How hilarious would it be if it was the backstage thief guy? Because he was originally there to take Bunny's place...)

2. I had forgotten Ben would remember Kotetsu! Yay, Ben!

3. For a minute, I thought the show was going to wreck its total slashiness by having Blue Rose remember Kotetsu first. Silly me, I should've known better.

4. And then Maverick terrified me just by talking to Kaede. Oh god, don't steal her memories! Saddest ever! (Well, OK, debatable whether Kaede or Bunny forgetting Kotetsu is the saddest ever. Either way, the other is second saddest, surely?)

A whole week until next week's episode now! ;_; I guess I'll have to go distract myself with some doujinshi or something.

Ahh, the link is what I needed! I'll start watching late this week, after the house guest is gone.

PSA: W_10_00 liked it from the start, and you might as well, but it took me 8 episodes before they turned on the awesome switch. The good news is, they never turned it off.

I have no idea which of my cherished 6 icons I'm going to displace, but one of them now has to go. (Maybe the reading rabbit. I have too many animated gifs.)

1. A robot? When his foot first showed up, I thought it was Bunny and I was SO SAD that they had taken the Bunny ears away. Then it got better.

2. This made me much happier than I could have anticipated. Also, the return of the old suit (which makes me less happy, not just for Saito's sake, but because I think the old suit is Legend-inspired? Oh, Legend, WHY?)

3. My response exactly. Good to know a couple of thouusand miles doesn't affect our twinliness.

4. YES! I was so scared by the encounter (and I so much wanted her to see Bunny) that I almost missed the significance of Maverick patting her creepily on the head.

Fly out here for next week's episode. I was lonely, and Hulu didn't translate the television or phone voiceovers. What's up with that?

1. I thought it was Bunny, too! I'm...sort of amazed Kotetsu even recognized it as Wild Tiger? I didn't see the logo or anything (I don't think?), so I'm not sure how he could tell.

Hulu didn't translate the television or phone voiceovers.

My guess is that the subs just suck in the first version and they'll fix it on a second pass through (just not sure when). It wasn't just the voiceover thing--there were a couple times when it looked to me like the subs were stuck on the same line while the actual dialogue was moving on.

(Maybe we need a simul-watch next week?)

I think the helmet is Tiger's helmet, just pink. Since, without bunny ears, it's just a generic helmet to me, I couldn't tell that difference between that and any other non-Bunny helmet, but boys probably can with their mecha-vision.

Given that this is TV, yes.It may simply be enough for her to proclaim "my father isn't a murderer; he's a Hero" within Barnaby's hearing while the powers are activated (probably as a result of her being emotionally agitated). Fortunately, having Kaede be the key to unlocking Barnaby's memories doesn't undermine the slashiness at all. (Yay! They all move off to the country and raise Kaede and cabbages together.)

Maybe we need a simul-watch next week?

How would this work? We agree on a time and email each other throughout? Do we know when the episodes get posted to Hulu?

I thought the masks' faces looked a little different, but honestly I wouldn't really be able to tell without a side-by-side screencap. But really, why did they make him pink? That was just confusing.

Basically, except I was thinking chatting. I don't know what time it gets posted to Hulu, though...I actually didn't watch it until I saw your e-mail, which was 8:00 my time. Hulu claims it's posted a few hours after it airs in Japan, so I would guess it's in the afternoon sometime? Maybe 3:00PDT/6:00EDT would work?

Hmm, I guess it could just be a robot, but it would be nice if it were someone more significant. Though I have no idea who.

I just started watching the show a couple weeks ago; it figures that I get in just when it's getting all cliffhanger-y. This is why I prefer to marathon shows. :/

LOL! OK, I am squinting so I won't see the spoilers (I still need to get caught up on eps 14-21), but I showed two episodes to

wrenwyn and

xerxes_rex last night and they LOVED it. So your pimping has borne fruit. (And x-r is all about the shounen and not at all about the slashing, proving that this show does have some sort of mysterious appeal for its allegedly target audience, whatever that may be.)

Yay! More fans! And, honestly, I am not surprised that you can like it without slash goggles; I actually recommended it to my brother because I thought he would like it, and he's certainly not interested in the slash at all. (Actually I find your "mysterious appeal" comment sort of...funny? since obviously I do like the slash, but I would also like it if it wasn't slashy. The slash is just sort of frosting on the awesome cake, as far as I'm concerned.)

ETA: OK, maybe I'm exaggerating slightly; I do like the slash part a LOT. But then, frosting is my favorite part of cake.

Please please please get caught up! The latest episodes are SO AMAZING.

Hubby and I love Tiger and Bunny! So adorable! Sara pimped it out to us on Saturday and I can't wait to watch more. We only got 2 eps in before we had to dash off.

But love, love, love it! Xerxes likes it because they're super heroes and I of course love it cause we can slash to our hearts content! I certainly hope it continues. =>.<=
