On the other hand, they DID need to devote a whole episode to making Barnaby remember Kotetsu, huh? I guess if Barnaby gets a whole episode, I won't begrudge Blue Rose her little tiny moment. Mostly.

Hilarity:

1. Sky High accidentally touching Kaede and wrecking her chance to fix Barnaby's memories. (But obviously he needs to remember through the Power of Their Love! ~~and the magic Christmas tree pin~~)

2. "If only I'd remembered when you told about how I eat fried eggs!" Sky High, ILU

3. Kick fight on the bikes (I don't know why this made me laugh so hard--also when Kotetsu "accidentally" punches Barnaby in the face, lol)

Can there be a good translation for "himesama dakko" in English, so we can get that joke translated into the subtitles, please? i.e. "Hey, Bunny, remember when we first met and you carried me like a bride?" ALL SLASHY SUBTEXT MUST BE PRESERVED

For the record, that line felt pretty slashy even without understanding the Japanese. Then again, I was slashing their motorcycles, so I may have permanent slash vision.

I am impressed you're tracking this. I only noticed last week because they did the special slow camera of power absorption immediately after Creepy patted her head. Frankly, if I were Kotetsu (and I wouldn't want to be him, because if I were him, I couldn't LOVE HIM MADLY LIKE BUNNY), I would touch Kaede every 15 minutes just to be sure she hasn't absorbed some random power.

Still wondering who was a magnet. I hope it's Niisan. Also, have the writers forgotten KTK's power is fading? (Except it's totally not. If Lunatic hadn't killed his father, I am SURE we would have discovered that his power was just going dormant as part of a power metamorphosis.) HERO 4 ever!

I just happened to notice that he touched her, and I sort of expected her to use super-strength to get past the heroes blocking her from her dad. (But she can't interrupt the SUPER IMPORTANT MEMORY LOVE FEST between Kotetsu and Barnaby, so that wouldn't have made sense anyway.)

I dunno, I thought his power-up was pretty short? Not that the five minute limit was ever consistent...

(And I agree that his power fade should only be temporary! Wild Tiger can never retire!)

Also, I agree that Legend was killed too soon for us to know what the powering-down actually meant, and am looking forward to some future development there.

You should definitely check out Sky High/Origami doujinshi, then! They're the second most popular pairing as far as I can tell. Who cares if they've only spoken twice? They're obviously in love!

I know! The only time I've ever felt less than complete love for Kotetsu is when he insulted Sky High in the alley in the birthday episode. And if I can get mad at Tiger while he's holding a stuffed Bunny, I must have unexplored feelings for Sky High.

It would definitely be cool if Kaburagi-niisan had a super power and we got a story to go with it. But even if it's not him, I want the anime to be so amazingly thorough in its details that it reveals who the magnet power came from. I want T&B to be the B5 of anime.
