While reading this book (specifically, the dream sequence [OH GOD OH GOD HIS DREAM LOLOLOLOLOLOL ]), I realized that somewhere along the line here, I seem to have gotten over my hatred of Vicente. He just makes me laugh so much, how can I keep hating him? Poor Vicente. *pets him*

Also, I didn't think I could do the reunion scene justice as a summary...okay, I'll admit it: I just couldn't bring myself to make fun of it. :( Anyway, enjoy those few pages as a full-blown translation. (A million thanks to spacealien_vamp for the beta, and to collarnojutsu for her advice on how to not gross readers out with a kiss scene.)

I actually had been thinking about doing a side-by-side comparison of some manga and the translated version, just out of curiosity, but...well, mostly I was too lazy. Then I happened to notice something that seemed off in the English version of Close the Last Door, and I took a closer look. What I found was...not pretty. ( Actually, it makes me kinda angry. )

A couple weeks ago I mentioned posting scans from the Junai Romantica novels. Here's the first one; I've translated the manga portions and summarized the novel portions. As far as the summary goes, I'm mostly doing it from memory and it's been a while since I read this, so bear with me if I mix up a few details here and there. (Also, it's a little weird for me because I'm in the middle of reading book 5. Hopefully I don't get them mixed up or anything.) This, uh, takes a bit of time to do, so don't expect the next one tomorrow or anything, but I do plan on getting to all of them. Why am I doing this and not translating Flesh & Blood

Also, apologies for the crappiness of the scans. I forgot to put a blank piece of paper in between the pages to keep the text from bleeding through to the other side, and then was too lazy to scan again. orz
